Mid Major is a term used in American NCAA Division I college sports, to refer to athletic conferences that are not among the so-called "Power Five conferences" (the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac-12, and SEC). Mid Major Conferences included schools in the the Big East, the American, the Atlantic 10, Big South, Colonial, Ivy, Patriot, Atlantic Sun, Northeast, Southern Conference and the Mountain West .
So we applied this to a concept to help find athletes and mid major schools connect. We will be offering clinics and prospect days throughout the country with the hopes of attracting players who want to play NCAA Lacrosse but don't connect with a Power 5 school. Currently only 21 Power 5 schools offer Division 1 Lacrosse so that means the majority of schools and athletes live in the Mid Major World.
We are excited to invite Mid Major Programs from all conferences to various clinics around the country with the hopes of continuing the trend of keeping a mid major program as the National Champion!
